Programme Overview

The LL.B. programme is a three-year professional course designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of the legal system. The curriculum includes Constitutional Law, Business Laws, Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Administrative Law, and various specialized legal subjects. With practical exposure through moot courts, legal aid camps, seminars, internships, and expert sessions, students gain real-world experience in the field of law.

Courses Run

  • LL.B. – 120 Seats
    Sanctioned seats as approved by the University and the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For LL.B. – Three-year Programme, candidates must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks (General category).
  • OBC candidates must have secured at least 42% marks.
  • SC/ST and differently-abled candidates must have secured at least 40% marks.
  • Candidates appearing in their final year examination may also apply, subject to submission of proof at admission.
  • Age Limit: As per Bar Council of India (BCI) and university norms.

Admission Procedure

Students seeking admission must apply for registration along with a bank draft or online non-refundable payment of Rs. 1000 by the date notified on the website.

Admission to the LL.B. Three-Year Course is granted strictly on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the qualifying graduation examination from a UGC-recognized university and as per the minimum percentage prescribed by the Bar Council of India.

Entrance Test (If Applicable)

Admission through entrance test shall be given to candidates who obtain 40% or more marks.

The entrance test consists of two parts:

Candidates who have secured 50% or more marks in any of the following are exempted from the entrance test:

Shortlisted candidates must appear for counseling and document verification and deposit the complete fees to confirm admission.

Attendance

A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for all students as per BCI rules.
